About Cam-A-ThonOn October 25, 2011, Cameron Evans began a race which was about to change his life. Within days of completing the cross country event (featured below) he learned that the flu-like symptoms he was suffering were the result of leukemia, the most common form of childhood cancer. What started as a middle school championship race, soon became a race for his life.
Cam-A-Thon is a 12 hour dance marathon hosted by the Downingtown STEM Academy that raises money for the Cure 4 Cam foundation. It is in honor of Cameron Evans who lost his long and hard fought battle against cancer. During the 12 hours, there is much more than just dancing, there is music, games, food, and much more! Come out for a great time while supporting a great cause! For more information about Cure 4 Cam visit cure4cam.org or email us at [email protected]. |
